Privacy Policy
Apparewl Fashion House Private Limited ("Apparewl", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you use https://apparewl.com, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have. It is written in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules. By using the website you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account: name, email address (verified by a one-time password) and password (stored only in encrypted, hashed form). Optionally your mobile number, date of birth and gender.
- Orders: delivery and billing addresses, mobile number, the products and sizes you buy, coupons used, order notes and payment method.
- Returns and exchanges: the reason, your description and the photos you upload.
- Reviews, contact form and newsletter: the review or message you write, and the email address you subscribe with.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage: IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, recorded in server logs and used to keep the website secure (for example, to limit repeated login attempts).
- Cookies: see section 6.
Payment information
Online payments are processed by our payment partners (such as Razorpay and our UPI payment gateway). We receive the payment status and a transaction reference, but we never see or store your card number, CVV, netbanking password or UPI PIN.
2. How we use your information
- To create and secure your account, including sending one-time passwords.
- To process, pack, ship and deliver orders, and to handle returns, exchanges, cancellations and refunds.
- To send order confirmations and status updates by email, and to contact you about an order.
- To answer your questions and complaints.
- To prevent fraud, misuse of coupons, fake orders and security attacks.
- To send offers and new arrivals, only if you subscribe to our newsletter.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, such as GST invoices.
We do not sell or rent your personal data.
3. Who we share it with
We share only what is needed, with:
- Courier and logistics partners: your name, delivery address and mobile number, to deliver and collect parcels.
- Payment partners: the order amount, reference and your contact details, to take and refund payments.
- Service providers: our website hosting and email providers, who process data only on our instructions.
- Authorities: when required by law, a court order or to prevent fraud or harm.
4. How long we keep it
- Account details are kept while your account is active.
- Order and invoice records are kept for as long as tax and accounting laws require (generally up to 8 years).
- Contact messages and return photos are deleted when no longer needed to resolve the matter.
- Newsletter emails are kept until you ask to be removed.
5. How we protect it
The website uses HTTPS encryption. Passwords and one-time passwords are stored in hashed form, payment gateway keys are encrypted, and access to customer data is limited to authorised staff. No website is completely secure, so please use a strong password and keep it private.
6. Cookies
We use only the cookies needed for the website to work: a session cookie that keeps you signed in and remembers your bag, and a security cookie that protects forms. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Blocking cookies in your browser will stop sign-in and checkout from working.
7. Your rights and choices
- Access and correction: view and update your profile, email, password and addresses in My account.
- Deletion: ask us to delete your account and personal data by writing to apparewlfashionhouse02@gmail.com. We will delete it unless we must keep certain records by law (such as invoices).
- Withdraw consent: stop marketing emails at any time by writing to apparewlfashionhouse02@gmail.com from the subscribed address. Order and account emails are still sent while you have orders with us.
- Nominate: under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may nominate a person to exercise these rights on your behalf.
We respond to requests within 30 days.
8. Children
The website is meant for adults. People under 18 may use it only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect data from children without such consent.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices or the law change. The date below shows the latest version.
